Spice Mix

Lama tak  menaip kat blog ni... bukan apa computer Cikjuice ni selalu hang.. ala ala hanger gitu.. kebetulan tertengok Crash my kitchen, suggest to have mixed spice at home .. so Cikjuice apa lagi gunalah cik google dan browse ..here you go ..for index aje tau.

Ingredients

Santa Fe Spice Mix

  • 3 tablespoons chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons ground coriander
  • 2 tablespoons cumin
  • 1 tablespoon crushed fennel seeds
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 2 teaspoons salt

Greek Spice Mix

  • 3 tablespoons dried oregano
  • 2 tablespoons dried mint
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon pepper
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • teaspoon cinnamon

Cajun Spice Mix

  • 2 tablespoons dried thyme
  • 2 tablespoons paprika
  • 2 tablespoons pepper
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon dried mustard
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 4 teaspoons cayenne pepper
  • teaspoon salt

Tandoori Spice Mix

  • 3 tablespoons ground ginger
  • 3 tablespoons coriander
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon pepper
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons turmeric
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground nutmeg
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cloves
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon

Oil And Citrus Spice-Mix Marinade

  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons grated lemon, rind
  • 2 teaspoons grated lime, rind
  • 3 tablespoons lemon, juice
  • 3 tablespoons lime, juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons spice, mix

Directions

Santa Fe Spice Mix

  1. Makes about 1/2 cup.

Greek Spice Mix

  1. Makes about 1/2 cup.

Cajun Spice Mix

  1. Makes about 3/4 cup.

Tandoori Spice Mix

  1. Makes about 2/3 cup.

Oil And Citrus Spice-Mix Marinade

  1. Use lemon juice with Greek and Cajun spice mixes; use lime juice with the Tandoori and Santa Fe mixes.
  2. In shallow glass dish, combine oil, lemon rind and juice, garlic and spice mix.
  3. Add desired meat, turning to coat.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 or for up to 8 hours. Makes 1/2 cup (125 mL).
  5. Marinades tenderize and flavour meat. Each of these versatile options is sufficient for 4 servings (1 lb/500 g) of meat, poultry or fish.
