Quick and easy for last minute party and when you are hungry...
Ingredients
- 8 thick French baguette, bread ( get it from bakery lah..)
- Tuna in the water
- 1 garlic clove, peeled, halved
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 4 ripe tomatoes, diced
- 1/2 cup basil leaves, shredded
- Cheddar Cheese
Method
- Preheat grill on medium-high heat. Grill both sides of bread slices until toasted. While hot, rub 1 side of each slice with cut garlic. Drizzle each with 1 teaspoon of oil.
- Drain tuna and mash with cream of tar-tar.
- Spoon tomatoes, tuna onto bread. Sprinkle with basil and cheese. Season with salt and pepper. Serve immediately.
Notes & tips
- Variation: Try adding finely diced red or green onion to tomato
- Try to grill after spooning all the ingredients. dash with olive oil.
